The Johnson Clergy Association (Birmingham) CIO was founded in 2025 after becoming a Charity Incorporated Organisation.
Since its founding in 1710, the Charity has undergone many changes over the years, and has been known with a number of names, such as The Johnson Fund, The Johnson Association and the Secular Clergy Association. Despite these changes, the objectives of the association have remained the same: to provide financial help to priests of the Archdiocese of Birmingham in retirement, old age and sickness.
